DIARY: Gordon won’t let high-profile date spoil early nights

Those of you who get out a lot may not have seen the ’feel the sportsman’ round on comedy quiz show They Think It’s All Over. It involves blindfolded celebrities guessing the identity of a sportsperson by touching his or her well-honed body.

Those of you who get out a lot may not have seen the ’feel the

sportsman’ round on comedy quiz show They Think It’s All Over. It

involves blindfolded celebrities guessing the identity of a sportsperson

by touching his or her well-honed body.

Last year, so well did ex-swimmer Sharron Davies know the subtleties of

her husband, athelete Derek Redmond’s body, that it only took a few

swift gropes for her to work out who she was fondling.

But, after an acrimonious split, Davies’ new squeeze is celebrity PR man

Gary Gordon, who works for Media Research, as the front cover of the

current issue of OK! acclaims.

The feature delves into the demise of the Davies/Redmond relationship,

how she and Gordon met, and how he deals with tabloid intrusion.

When asked whether he has a colourful past to dig into, Gordon replies:

’I only go to things like premieres because it’s part of my job. I train

very heavily for marathons and I am normally in bed at 9.30 in the

evening.’ 9.30pm? Hmmm.
