Prior to the appointment, Davies had been working with the agency for two months, consulting on several integrated projects. The new senior digital media role marks a push by Freshwater to offer its clients a fully integrated communications service.
Freshwater chief executive, Steve Howell, said: 'Digital media is an increasingly essential platform for PR campaigns and brand management. By recruiting a specialist digital account handler to the Freshwater team, we are well-placed to assist clients across the whole spectrum of communications.'
Before joining Freshwater, Davies was an account manager at markettiers4dc, a London-based broadcast PR consultancy, which specialises in the creation and distribution of content. She has implemented online campaigns for brands including EA Sports, the NSPCC and Nationwide.
Davies begins her role with immediate effect and will be based at Freshwater's head office in Cardiff.
