MEDIA BRIEFS: Scottish radio licence goes to Score

The Edinburgh digital radio licence has gone to the only company which applied for it - Scottish Radio Holdings’ Score Digital. The licence covers an audience of 1.1 million. Score will broadcast eight stations round the clock. Radio Forth will provide two stations, contemporary hit radio on Forth FM, and adult hit radio on Forth AM. Sunrise Radio will provide Asian programming, Xfm will broadcast modern rock, GWR will have a male rock channel and Saga Group will run Saga Radio for the over-45s.
