PUBLIC SECTOR: Robson Brown to promote Durham coast

Durham County Council has appointed Newcastle-based PR agency Robson Brown to manage the press relations and the promotion of a stretch of newly-regenerated coastline in the region. Robson Brown won the account after a three-way pitch and will take on nationwide promotion of the coastline, which has been transformed from a stretch of slag-heaps to a tourist-friendly destination over the past four years. The council is acting on behalf of a consortium of 14 local organisations who have worked on the pounds 10 million project since 1997.
