PUBLIC SECTOR: Amnesty International seeks press officers

Amnesty International’s communications chief Mirella von Lindenfels is looking for two press officers to bring her London media team back to full strength following a brace of resignations. Ben Rowse, responsible for the African region, is to leave the charity for the news agency AFP before the end of the month, while Soraya Bermejo, press officer for the Americas region, is moving to UNICEF to work as the organisation’s emergencies press officer. Both formed part of the five-strong regional press information team which also covers Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
