Carltong International Media appoints Revolver Communications for Thunderbirds re-launch

Carlton International Media has appointed Revolver Communications on six-figure fees to do PR and guerrilla marketing for the re-launch of the Thunderbirds TV series. The agency was appointed after a three-way pitch. Revolver’s campaign will aim to maximise publicity for the brand around the launch of the show, which reappears on BBC2 in the autumn and then in the run-up to Christmas when Thunderbirds toys and games will be available. Revolver’s activities will focus on the student and children’s markets while an advertising campaign will target older generations who remember characters such as Brains and Lady Penelope from their childhood.
