Next week Hill and Knowlton will attempt to gain coverage for a

carnival-type float for client Schweppes to promote its still fruit

drink Oasis.

Hill and Knowlton is charged with the daunting task of encouraging

tube-frazzled commuters and overheated office workers to ’chill

out’.

The Oasis Chill Mobile is a 17-foot vehicle with its own iced pool, sun

deck and parasol nestled between palm trees.

On the mobile, and currently featuring in Oasis’ advertising campaign,

will be the six foot seven inch, muscle-bound Karma Brothers.

The brothers will park the Chill Mobile outside busy inner city tube

stations and ’encourage’ people to take five minutes out of their day,

relax and sample Oasis.

Freebies will given away and include ’Karma Kits’, a knapsack with a

stress ball, yo-yo, T-shirts and sunglasses.

Target media include the Big Breakfast late-morning programme for the

school holidays, the Bigger Breakfast, the Daily Mail and Kiss FM.

The Karma Brothers will travel throughout London on the mobile from 19

to 23 July, after which rumour has it they will be at the disposal of

the Hill and Knowlton team, to provide them with a break from promoting

the stunt.
