La Monnaie de Paris, France’s state-owned mint, is seeking PR and
advertising agencies to help revamp its image. The mint is keen to
promote the jewellery and accessories it produces, as well as its coins.
It has received written proposals from advertising and PR agencies
jointly and is due to make a decision on the hiring next month. The PR
and advertising contract will start in September and last until the end
of 2001. The agencies will report to La Monnaie de Paris communications
director Geraldine Caillat, who heads a two-strong press team.
