Hi-tech PR consultancy Buffalo Communications is launching a

specialist financial and investor relations service in a bid to capture

the dot.com market.

Buffalo FinTech PR, has been designed to offer clients an integrated

investor relations and PR service, focusing on taking hi-tech companies

to flotation and beyond.

FinTech will be headed by Sue Scott, who was recently recruited from

City financial PR company Biddick Associates.

Reporting to managing director Kerry Hallard, Scott’s remit is to

develop the offering to assist companies planning a stock market

flotation, alongside providing ongoing support to existing clients.

The service, which launched this week, can be provided in isolation or

integrated with Buffalo’s hi-tech offering.

Hallard said: ’We have received numerous requests for support from

dot.com companies and other start-ups requiring more specialist

financial PR, so now we can give them the benefits of two consultancies

rolled into one.’

She added that they are hoping FinTech PR will eventually form up to 40

per cent of their business.

Buffalo client Lexmark, has as has application service provider

HOSTeu.

Scott leads a team of three, but hopes to take on a further four

full-time account handlers by the end of the year.
