Public Sector: Rowley takes on public affairs at Warwick

The University of Warwick has appointed Ian Rowley as its new director of public affairs. The former Royal Shakespeare Company head of press and PR replaces John Read who has moved to become director of corporate affairs for the English and Welsh Cricket Board. Rowley, who starts in mid-July, will report to university registrar Jonathan Nicholls, and will head a team of three people. His role involves developing a media strategy and a clear brand identity for the university both in the UK and abroad.
