Stop Press: Sorrell predicts further PR consolidation

The research and PR industries are set for a period of consolidation, WPP chief executive Martin Sorrell said this week. Sorrell, addressing the London 2000 conference on the future of marketing services, made his prediction alongside the claim that in years to come only five significant players will remain: WPP, Omnicom, Interpublic, Dentsu and Bcom3.
