MEDIA BRIEFS: Guardian unveils shopping guide web site

The Guardian this week launches a new internet site, Shopping Unlimited, under the auspices of its Guardian Unlimited network. Shopping Unlimited is an on-line guide to internet shopping destinations, selling everything from gardening tools to financial services. It also gives links to relevant sites. The directory and guide, which has been put together by web author Jim McClellan, reviews the sites. A second section offers consumers advice on how to shop on-line, and tackles myths and fears about using credit cards on-line.
