The battle for women internet users hots up next week with the
launch of Charlottestreet.com, the women’s web site set up by Associated
Newspapers’ new media division. Nicola Davenport, editor of the site,
which will be updated every day, has recruited Tony Burroughs from the
Press Association to be chief sub on the site. Meanwhile the Telegraph’s
new media arm is pushing ahead with its joint project with Boots the
Chemist, handbag.com.
