Ogilvy PR Worldwide has bought a 20 per cent stake in Stigma PR.
The acquisition formalises the relationship between Stigma and
advertising agency Ogilvy and Mather, which jointly work on clients
including Mattel.
According to Stigma MD Marina Leonidhopoulos, the relationship with an
international network will help Stigma when pitching for local business,
while Ogilvy now has an agency of choice in Greece. Stigma, which was
founded in 1994, had fees of pounds 130,000 last year and now becomes
Stigma Ogilvy PR. The agency becomes the 39th office in Ogilvy’s
network.
