PUBLIC SECTOR: Age Concern targets media relations officer

Age Concern’s new media relations manager Andy Allsopp is looking to put the finishing touches to his revamped media team with the appointment of a media relations officer to work on issues including health, social services and housing for older people. The post will join a two-strong team to bring the PR department to full strength after the recent promotion of Anna Butterworth to senior media relations officer. Butterworth replaced Abigail Bennett, who recently left to head communications at Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Health Authority.
