PUBLIC SECTOR: Kelling joins English Tourist Council PR

The English Tourist Council’s (ETC) communications director Robyn Griffith-Jones has appointed Ken Kelling as second-in-command within her PR department. Kelling takes over the newly-created role which oversees a press and PR team of three, and will take day-to-day responsibility for press and PR activity of the body. The ETC was established in 1999 to act as a trade body championing the causes of companies operating in the UK tourist industry to the Government. The company brought in Shandwick to support its launch last year and is in the process of choosing a parliamentary monitoring agency.
