The Association of Professional Political Consultants this week

welcomed two new members to its ranks.

The body’s nine-strong management committee voted unanimously on Monday

night to admit the public affairs and corporate policy division of Hill

and Knowlton, together with Lexington Communications, to its membership.

This brings the number of APPC members to 21 in total.

Although H&K will be represented at the body’s regular meetings by

public affairs managing director Andrew Pharoah, the agency had made

clear its intention to join when Edward Bickham was still in charge last

month.

Lexington Communications will be represented by agency founder and APPC

founder member, Mike Craven - former GPC Market Access MD.
