Epson has awarded digital agency Immediate Future its social media account following a three-way pitch. The printer specialist has briefed the agency to oversee the development of social media policies and to implement procedures to ensure that online comms follow best practice. Immediate Future will work with Epson across Europe.
Microsoft Advertising has appointed 3Monkeys Communications to handle a UK trade PR brief. 3Monkeys already holds the Microsoft consumer PR account. The agency will replace The Red Consultancy as part of Microsoft Advertising's strategy to align its consumer and trade comms activity. Associate director Sarah Ogden will lead on the account.

MySpace has named Rosabel Tao as senior vice-president of corporate comms, based at its Beverly Hills offices. Tao will oversee all global external and internal comms for the brand and lead on strategy and messaging. She previously held senior positions with GolinHarris and Weber Shandwick.
