Huntsworth took part in its first video interview with the London Stock Exchange to discuss the group's interim results last week.
The interview, which featured chief executive Lord Chadlington alongside group chief operating officer Sally Withey, has been posted on YouTube.
In the interview, Chadlington was upbeat about the firm's performance despite a tough period for many players in the PR industry: 'We expect the entire group to be in growth in the second half of 2010 and we anticipate we will reach our target of like-for-like growth in 2011 of about seven per cent, maybe even more.'
Chadlington remained cautious about talk of a wider economic recovery. 'It's a hugely underestimated problem that the world faces,' he said. 'I agree with some of the recent commentary that we are going to go through 18 months to two years of great economic difficulty, particularly in North America and the UK.'
However, he insisted the results demonstrated that PR could perform well during a recession: 'All our experience shows that PR particularly does very well when the economy is doing badly. I have been in this market for a long time and have been through five recessions, and always the PR expenditure holds up.'
