Argentinian president elect Fernando De la Rua has asked former
Clinton adviser Dick Morris to stay on with his administration as a
communications consultant. Morris played a key role during Clinton’s
election and during the early years of his presidency. He helped De la
Rua beat Eduardo Duhalde, who was himself advised by Morris’s former
colleague James Carville.
De la Rua won the election on 24 October and will succeed Carlos Menem
on 10 December. Morris is undecided about the offer.
