Burson-Marsteller has recruited Zaheer Nooruddin as lead digital strategist for its Greater China operation. He previously was head of Edelman Digital in China before resigning earlier this year.
Nooruddin will head up Burson-Marsteller’s digital team across the five Greater China offices: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Hong Kong.
His new role involves helping identify new business opportunities and will aim to deliver digital and media solutions for the firm’s clients.

BMW, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Shell and IBM are some of the brands in Nooruddin’s new client portfolio.
Nooruddin also previously worked in senior roles at Proximity Worldwide/ BBDO and Ogilvy.
