Former acting editor of Inside Soap, Tricia Martin has joined the Sun’s Saturday television supplement, Sun TV, as the features editor.

Former acting editor of Inside Soap, Tricia Martin has joined the

Sun’s Saturday television supplement, Sun TV, as the features

editor.

’It will be a mix of interviewing people, commissioning features and

keeping an eye on what’s starting in terms of big TV events,’ she

explained.

Inside Soap recently appointed Steven Murphy as its full-time editor (PR

Week, 9 June). He joined the magazine from the Australian version where

he was also editor.

According to Martin, she declined the editorship in favour of the

move.

’I had to choose between the editorship and the Sun,’ she said.

The appointment of Murphy is one of several within publisher Attic

Futura’s consumer titles stable.

Wendy Granditer has been promoted to deputy editor of Inside Soap, while

her former role as features editor on the magazine has been filled by

Allison Maund.

Maund had been editing Attic Futura’s Boyzone magazine. Michael Eva has

taken her place as editor of TV Hits Specials, which involves producing

six supplements annually. He has freelanced for TV Hits for the last

year.

Anthony Crank has been appointed deputy editor of TV Hits, a post which

had been vacant for ’a little while’, an Attic Futura spokeswoman

said.

Crank has joined from mykindaplace.com, a teenage girls’ web site, and

he also used to write for More. Crank will report to the TV Hits’

editor, Allison Lower.

Meanwhile, B has appointed Eliza O’Hare as deputy editor. She joins from

Australia’s best-selling youth title Dolly, where she was editor.

O’Hare has worked in women’s magazines for more than ten years, mainly

at Cosmopolitan. She replaces Victoria White who has left to become

deputy editor at Nat Mags’ Company magazine.
