International directories business Yell brings in Man Bites Dog

Yell, the international directories business, has brought in Man Bites Dog for a b2b PR brief in the UK.

The agency picked up the six-figure brief following a five-way pitch and will specifically target the SME space.

There was no incumbent on the b2b account.

The campaign will position Yell as a digital marketing exp­ert to the small business community, and the most effective way to find customers and promote a business locally.

Bernice Huelin, integrated comms manager at Yell, said: ‘The appointment is ess­ential to promote our high value services and consult­ative approach to business customers.’

Senior account director Daryl Newman will lead the account, reporting to Huelin.

Man Bites Dog will work with Yell and its marketing agency Rapier to develop a full strategic and tactical plan to support the brand’s overall marcomms objectives.
