Lewis PR is to float on the stockmarket next year in a bid to raise

funds for expansion and to retain key staff.

The agency has appointed Beeson Gregory as its financial advisers and

accountants BDO Stoy Hayward. An IPO is expected next year which could

value the firm at up to pounds 13 million.

Although market rules prevent talk of valuations, the agency is thought

to have been offered similar amounts in recent years by marketing

services groups.

Deputy CEO Simon Hill is overseeing the float in an attempt to give

Lewis’s 70 staff equity and engender loyalty.

’Tradeable shares give us access to the best people and bring in funds

to fuel growth and future acquisitions,’ he said.

Hill is an accountant by training while agency founder Chris Lewis was a

financier with American Express.
