Voluntary Sector: The Week in Charities

Kidney Research UK has recruited Rachel Andrews as comms manager. She most recently worked at the Institute of Advanced Motorists. Andrews reports to director of marketing Peter Storey.

Comic Relief is looking for PR assistance to handle its Gordon Ramsay-created charity sauce campaign. The charity's Seriously Good range of sauces was launched in 2009, with at least 10p a jar going to Comic Relief.

Climate Week has appointed Phil Drew as head of comms. He previously worked as campaign manager at Unity. Climate Week will run from 21-27 March 2011. Drew works alongside new head of campaigns Kate Shepherd, who joins from Global Tolerance.

The Royal London Society for the Blind has hired Tom Pey as chief executive. He is currently director of external affairs at Guide Dogs for the Blind. He starts in October, replacing Brian Cooney, who is becoming vice-chair of Liverpool's Alder Hey Family House Trust.

The Good Agency has promoted Matthew Sherrington to the role of MD. He has worked at the agency since January as strategy director. Iain Campbell, previously MD and co-founder, takes the position of COO.
