The Citizen’s Advice Bureau is beefing up its communications team
following a review of its communications strategy in order to improve
the profile of the organisation. Public affairs director Nicola Simpson
is about to announce the appointment of a communications head to replace
Stella Bland who left in July to work in the Environment Agency’s
Bristol office. The next step will be the further addition of a press
and marketing manager and an assistant. The three appointments will
boost the department’s headcount to eight. A spokeswoman said: ’The new
positions recognise that communications are key to the organisation
achieving its goal of reaching out to people.’
