STOP PRESS: Internet start-up Worldpop.com hires Shine

Shine Communications has been chosen to handle the launch and ongoing PR for Worldpop.com, the UK internet start-up which has received unprecedented financial backing. A global, 24-hour rolling pop news magazine, the site will be launched in early 2000 across all media, including internet, TV, radio, print, interactive and digital TV and third generation mobile phones. Shine came top in a three-way pitch.
