MUNICH: Kohtes and Klewes, the largest German PR agency, has opened its eighth office in Germany. Its new Munich office employs 24 people who report to managing director Martin Kleene.

MUNICH: Kohtes and Klewes, the largest German PR agency, has opened

its eighth office in Germany. Its new Munich office employs 24 people

who report to managing director Martin Kleene.



Kleene came from the agency’s Dusseldorf office, where he was a member

of the management committee and responsible for corporate

communications.



He is one of 12 holding partners in Kohtes and Klewes.



His brief is to raise the profile of the company in Munich, focusing on

corporate communications, as many large companies are headquartered in

Munich.



Services offered at the new office cover consumer, healthcare,

information technology and telecommunications PR, as well as event

promotion.



The agency has offices in Berlin, Bonn, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt,

Hamburg and Stuttgart, employing a total of around 300 people.



Clients include electronics firm Siemens and engineering company

DaimlerChrysler Aerospace. According to figures published by the German

Public Relations Report, the agency reported a fee income of pounds 16.9

million in 1997.
