1. Cow PR created a doggy-style K99 ice cream van to promote client Boomerang's pets party in Regent's Park last Saturday. Account executive Lauren Holness donned the apron to serve the special canine creations. PR isn't all about glamour, parties and free drinks - sometimes you've just got to cope with a Great Dane's doggy phlegm.

2. Travelodge hosted Britain's first 'Sleep Concert' in an attempt to help sleep-deprived British workers catch 40 winks during their working day. The free-of-charge event took place at London's City Road Travelodge on 20 July, where guests were directed to the dimly lit concert hall creating 'the optimum environment to fall into a peaceful slumber'. Presumably, Coldplay or Dido were headlining.

3. TVC MD Nicky Minter-Green cycled all the way to Paris to raise money for Mermaids for MS - a charity he helped set up to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. He, his wife and two others raised nearly £2,500 and even managed to get to Paris before Lance Armstrong and friends.
