City & Corporate: Penrose wins Gravis brief

Infrastructure investment advisory firm Gravis Capital Partners (GCP) has handed Penrose Financial a retained media and financial comms account.

Last week, GCP completed an initial public offering, raising £40m to create Britain's first listed infrastructure fund focused on providing debt to projects.

The Penrose team, which previously helped launch the GCP Infrastructure Investments fund in 2009, is led by chief executive Gay Collins.

Stephen Ellis, managing partner and head of funds advisory at GCP, said: 'We are at an important stage of the business' growth and with Penrose having played a crucial part in assisting us to boost our profile in the UK, we look forward to continuing this successful relationship.'
