PUBLIC SECTOR: NHS Litigation body creates comms role

The NHS Litigation Authority, which defends and settles claims against the NHS and advises hospitals on how to avoid litigious situations, has created the role of head of communications. The appointee will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating marketing and media policy. ’The organisation has been evolving over the last four to five years, and we’ve taken on additional responsibilities, so we’re looking for someone who can bring an extra marketing dimension,’ said director of finance, Tom Fothergill.
