ITN has brought in lunchtime newsreader Julia Somerville and former Watchdog presenter Alice Beer to present two new daily shows for the independent commercial radio station, LBC 1152 AM, as part of the station’s new programme schedule. Beer will be joining Simon Bates in presenting a daily breakfast show. Meanwhile, Somerville makes her debut as a radio presenter on London Life, a programme about events, people and places in the capital.
