The Money Channel, the television venture backed by 1960s pop
singer and actor Adam Faith, has signed a deal with BSkyB to be carried
over the satellite network’s service. The Money Channel will focus on
personal finance and money matters, and will broadcast over half its
output live from studios in Wapping. The idea for the channel was
conceived by Faith and his business partner, stockbroker Paul Killick,
and is expected to launch in February 2000.
