UK consumer technology agency Bite is opening a US office to
attract business from internet start-ups based in Silicon Valley.
According to Judy Wilks, general manager of the US office, Bite’s
strategy will initially be to establish itself by winning European-based
work before starting to pitch for US work. The new office starts without
any existing clients. Its premises are shared with Gyro, a marketing
communications specialist which covers all disciplines except public
relations, rather than Text 100, the technology PR specialist Bite was
originally spun-off from. Wilks will report directly to Bite managing
director Clive Armitage.
