Internet auctioneer Bid.Com International has appointed Brodeur A
Plus as its European PR agency.
Brodeur was hired after a four-way pitch which included Harvard,

for the European division of the organisation which is Dublin-based and
launched in July.
Although Bid.Com sells under its own brand in the US, in Europe it is
looking to license its on-line auction and e-commerce technology to
established internet brands in return for a share of future profits.
According to Stan Woods, MD of Brodeur A Plus, the PR campaign will
target established internet players such as Freeserve and brands such as
