Senior Bill Clinton PR adviser Doug Sosnik has joined the National Basketball Association as senior vice-president of strategic and corporate communications. Other Clinton staff leaving office ahead of November’s presidential elections include department of education communications chief David Frank, who is joining the Widmeyer-Baker Group. White House deputy press secretary Barry Toiv left late last year to join fellow ex-Clinton deputy press secretary, Amy Weiss, at Burson-Marsteller. Fleishman-Hillard has hired former energy department PRO Ben Finzel.
