PUBLIC SECTOR: Sue Ryder Foundation appoints Prophecy

The Sue Ryder Foundation has retained North West-based PR agency Prophecy to advise on and develop communications and PR strategy for the charity which provides homes and care centres in communities across the UK. The appointment of a PR agency comes shortly after the arrival of head of marketing and communications development Steve Thomas, to whom the agency will report. It is the first step towards the creation of the charity’s first dedicated PR function. The foundation, which has around 500 charity shops in the UK, is currently revamping its image to improve public awareness of its work.
