Brands2Life will work on the Convergys account until the end of September, following a three-month notice period.
Natasha Geldard, global senior PR and thought leadership manager at Convergys, said: ‘We took this move as we wanted a fresh approach to our media work, with an agency that can focus on the business benefits that technology can deliver.
‘In addition, the agency must have strong experience in content generation and building a company’s online presence, including social media.’
The account, believed to be worth six figures annually, is the third to be lost by Brands2Life in recent months.
However, Brands2Life recently won competitive pitches for payment collection network PayPoint and games brand Namco Bandai Partners UK.
Convergys works across 70 countries to deliver ‘customer service and technology solutions through outsourced agents’.
Clients mainly span the telecoms, utilities, cable, satellite, and financial services industries.
The Convergys brief will be UK and pan-European-based, with a view to expanding into the EMEA regions, and will work across both traditional and digital media to raise awareness of the brand in those markets.
Geldard said she expected to begin the pitching process by the start of August in order to have a replacement agency in place by the start of September.
