CNBC Europe, the 24-hour business news channel, is launching a new
programme, Power Lunch, on 8 November.
The daily live programme will cover news on personal investment,
careers, business travel and technology for viewers of the satellite and
cable channel across Europe.
The show will be hosted by Jo Sheldon and Ross Westgate and aims to
guide investors and professionals through business news, from ’stocks to
watch’ to mutual funds and savings. It will also include reports on
e-commerce, the business of sport, and reports on what traders, brokers
and analysts are saying.
Power Lunch has been inspired by a successful format on CNBC in the US,
according to the programme’s producer Tim Fawcett.
’We will get to the core of the issues that matter to European
investors,’ he said. ’From top stories of the day to special segments on
portfolio management, alternative investments and tax-free savings.’
