BORDER LINES: SYDNEY - Ketchum affiliates with Recognition

Ketchum has signed an exclusive affiliation with 17-strong technology PR specialist Recognition in Australia. The move completes the final leg of Ketchum’s stated aim of establishing an Asia-Pacific technology network before the year 2000. Recognition is a Sydney-based hi-tech PR shop with an income of pounds 875,000 a year, headed by managing director Steve Townsend. Its core clients include Hewlett-Packard and Hitachi Data Systems. Ketchum said it will maintain agreements with its other Sydney affiliate Network Communications.
