What is it good for?
I would recommend this Camden eaterie for both journalist and client lunches. The York & Albany is part of Gordon Ramsay's empire and, overlooking Regent's Park, offers a modern yet elegant experience.
The classic bouillabaisse fish soup, with red mullet, mussels and prawns, is delicious.
But if you are not a fish fan, the menu is packed with meat and vegetarian options, including braised calf cheeks, roasted breast of pheasant and aubergine parmigiana.
Who's the boss?
Angela Hartnett is the chef patron at the York & Albany and has nearly ten years' experience with Ramsay. She is supported by head chef Colin Buchan and GM James Partridge.
The York & Albany has an accompanying delicatessen, which is definitely worth a try.
What's the damage?
A set lunch starts at £20 for three dishes - a bargain when priced against a similar meal at one of Ramsay's other restaurants.
