Investment bank Merrill Lynch has shortlisted three agencies in its
first search for a corporate PR firm in Asia. Burson-Marsteller,
Ketchum-Newscan and Shandwick are waiting for a decision, which is said
to be imminent.
Five agencies pitched for the account in August, but a decision was
delayed by the departure of marketing and communications head Bob
Grieves in September.
The chosen agency will run a corporate account for Merrill’s debt,
equity, and investment banking arms in ten Asia-Pacific markets.
