Premier Model Management, which represents supermodels including
Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista, has hired Bose
Hewitt Management (BHM) to handle its PR for fees of pounds 45,000.
BHM’s brief is to raise awareness of Premier as the UK’s top model
agency, and to develop its name into a recognisable youth brand in order
to attract new talent.
The agency will co-ordinate scouting tours and stage the Premier Model
Look competition. It will also take on some personal management for the
models in a bid to generate publicity for them and raise their profile
as personalities.
Although there was no competitive pitch, BHM presented to Premier, whose
incumbent agency was Origin, just under a year ago, but Premier decided
against a review at the time.
BHM was launched in February 1998 by directors William Bose and Ben
Hewitt, formerly with Freud Communications. Clients include organic skin
care brand Living Nature, tour operator Jetset Leisure and executive
recruitment company Hanson Green.
It also promotes personalities including model and presenter Catalina
Guirado, TV presenters Jadene Doran and Judi Shekoni, and DJ Sassy.
