NEW YORK: Ziff-Davis publication Yahoo! Internet Life has ended its
relationship with the Rosen Group and brought its PR in-house.
To launch the magazine’s internal operation, the company has hired
former Playboy Enterprises director of corporate communications, Diane
Stefani to fill the newly-created role of public relations director.
Stefani, who had worked for Playboy for six years, was responsible for
promoting a number of the company’s divisions, including on-line and
Stefani is already launching a search for an agency to promote the
Internet Life on-line music awards. The ceremony is scheduled to take
place on 24 July.
Yahoo! Internet Life launched in 1996 with a print run of 100,000. The
title’s current circulation is 900,000.
Stefani will continue in her role as chairman of the Magazine Publishers
of America’s communications committee.
