Departure: Lorna Cuddon
Cuddon left her position as associate partner at College Hill Life Sciences (formerly Northbank Communications) on Wednesday this week. She has now launched Zyme Communications, which specialises in the life science sector and is based in Cambridge.

She launches with new client Gyros AB. She will advise the company on its media strategy, as well as providing PR support around conferences and events. She will also aim to raise its profile in the life science trade media.

Cuddon will be the only full-time staff member at the outset, but will be working with freelancers while the client base builds up.

She said: ‘Zyme Communications has been founded to support organisations to increase corporate value and generate commercial interest. I believe there is a gap in the market for life science specialist PR and marketing services that are both high quality and affordable for early stage companies. Cambridge, known as a leading life science cluster, is the ideal location for the agency to be based.’

Cuddon has also been marketing manager at NextGen Sciences and consultant at Sagentia.

PRWeek named Cuddon as a one of the top 29 PROs under 29 years old in the PR industry in 2008.
