The British and American Chamber of Commerce has appointed The
Flagship Group on a mixed PR and marketing brief to boost membership in
the IT sector.
The chamber is the result of a merger last month between the American
Chamber of Commerce UK - which advised US companies wishing to set up
here - and the British-American Chamber of Commerce which performed the
service but for UK firms with a US launch.
The merged chamber has more than 1400 members, including corporate
giants such as Boeing, IBM, Dell, Texaco, Dow Jones, Ford and American
The body describes its role as a provider of business development and
intelligence services, promotional work and advocacy.
