BSMG Worldwide is launching Slam, its consumer youth division, in
the US. Founded in the UK five years ago, it has become the company’s
fastest growing department. The Chicago-based operation will work as
part of the consumer practice. It will consist of a six-strong team,
headed by director Rebecca Loehr. The company, part of the media holding
company True North Communications, plans to launch further branches of
Slam in Germany and California in 2000.
