Microsoft’s Digital Media Division (DMD), an account Waggener
Edstrom reportedly resigned last October, has handed its pounds 300,000
PR business to Shandwick. The selection stemmed from a need for the
entertainment contacts Shandwick brings through its affiliation with Los
Angeles showbusiness PR firm Rogers and Cowan. Shandwick/Seattle lost
Microsoft’s pounds 3 million MSN business last September.
