PUBLIC SECTOR: Royal College of Nursing boosts media team

Royal College of Nursing director of public affairs Deborah Rozansky has boosted her communications team from eight to ten with the appointment of two media officers. She has brought in Simon Williams from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health to push public and media awareness on public health issues and Rachel Dufton from the NSPCC to work with the regional press. Both will work under senior media officer Diane Gaston and will collectively form the new press and PR function. The newly-created role of campaign manager has yet to be filled.
