Paragon Golin/Harris board director Quentin Cowdry is leaving to
become the fourth board member of leading PR recruitment and headhunting
firm Taylor Bennett.
Cowdry starts work at Taylor Bennett at the end of this month and will
work primarily in the firm’s headhunting business. As a board member, he
will have the option of buying equity in the firm.
Taylor Bennett’s clients include the BBC, Lever Brothers Europe, The Red
Consultancy and Hill and Knowlton.
Cowdry joined Paragon three years ago from Affinity Consulting, where he
was also a board director. At Paragon, he ran accounts including the
Carling Premiership, Samsung and battery brand Energizer.
He previously spent 14 years as a journalist in regional press, the
Daily and Sunday Telegraph and the Times.
Cowdry said: ’PR consultancy has been enormously fun and challenging,
but I now want to spend all my time in the area that I have come to love
most - staff selection and the broader people management arena.’
